Ever dreamed of riding a setup that’s 100% built for you—by you? The Prior Build Class at the Prior factory in Whistler, BC is your chance to craft a one-of-a-kind ride, dialed to your exact specs.
Winter Season Day 1: Kick things off at 1230pm with a factory tour and get the lowdown on how your skis or board will come together. Then it’s straight into the build process, aiming to end by 5pm - ideally with your unit in the press.
Winter Season Day 2: The next day, same timing. Put the finishing touches on your setup—it’s time to bring your custom ride to life and get it dialed in for the mountain. Grinding, filing, cutting and final finishing.
Winter Season Buffer Day 3: Buffer day. We get hit hard by snow... thats why we live here ! But it can cause potential havoc for Day 1 or Day 2. Severe winter storms cause power outages, closed highways etc. and are not rare. Ideally, you will use the buffer day to ride your new toy, maybe even with the Prior crew.
The idea with the schedule is to permit the possibility of riding in the mornings on Day 1/2, as well as to account for normal highway closures and extreme congestion should it happen to be a powder day. Please, if travelling from out of town, aim to be in town Wed-Sat.. the buffer days are mentioned for a reason !
After booking your class, we will be in touch to discuss the ski/board shape you want and other customization details, so we can prepare the materials in advance.
Price includes custom graphics, all materials, personalized building instruction and guidance, and a fully finished board or pair of skis with final waxing and factory tuning.
Classes run weekly on Thursday/Friday.
